Who is standing behind the camera? Allow me to tell you about myself in a few lines and to invite you to my creative world through pictures…

Everything began with a dreamlike journey... I started taking photos in 2006, when I spent an academic year in the United States as an exchange student. I did not know then, but now it is clear, that my American adventures meant the beginning of a new life and the foundation of an exciting career.

I was always interested in arts and creative artwork. I went to an art school as a child to study drawing, painting and modelling. During my high-school years I chose architecture as a major. After graduation I decided to become a goldsmith, because goldsmithery is miniature architecture and I was overwhelmed by ancient shapes and symbols often presented in the form of jewellery. I wanted to create individualized objects with a unique design, that are meaningful and personal.

It might seem like all this has nothing to do with photography, and I took a roundabout way with my studies. Looking back, I know that these have been inevitable episodes in my life and they all help me on my path of becoming better and better in photography. The art history, the thinking in space, the descriptive geometry, the shadow construction, the calligraphy, the creative planning, the knowledge of ratios and standards all give me a unique perspective of seeing and showing the world, expressed by captured moments in time.

I develop my skills and equipment day by day in order to improve the quality of my work. Over the years I walked a path from nature photography to photographing people, which I think is the greatest challenge, because there is more than a camera, an inanimate object and a photographer. It also has to do with communication, cooperation, empathy and psychology. I learned a lot from Norbert Bánhalmi about communicating with models (anyone, who stands in front of a camera is a model), understanding the psychology behind photography and studio lighting.

I am thankful for all the steps I have taken and for all the detours as well, because they formed me to the person I am today. As a photographer, I would like to make the world richer by sharing my experience and knowledge, and I would like to make people happy with my pictures and to show all of my models how amazing and lovely they are.
